Once again, Competentum is named Microsoft Partner of the Year!
For the Second year running, Competentum has been named Central and Eastern European Information Worker Solutions, Portals and Collaboration Partner of the Year.
Competentum, one of the leading developers of products and solutions for e-Learning, has been named Information Worker Solutions, Portals and Collaboration Partner of the Year for Central and Eastern Europe.
This award has been presented for ShareKnowledge, a learning management solution based on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2010 portal technology. The solution unifies learning processes, stores learning materials in virtual libraries, and provides internal and external learners access to curricula based on a company’s specific needs and organizational structure.
The award winners were announced at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference 2009 which took place on July 13-16, 2009 in New Orleans, USA. More than six thousand Microsoft partners from all around the globe attended the conference.
Central and Eastern European partners nominated 2000 solutions based on Microsoft technologies, only 33 of which became finalists. All nominated solutions were developed by partners for their clients in the past year and showed how Microsoft technologies can be optimized to satisfy the most important business needs of their customers.
Competentum was proud to be a bronze sponsor of this year’s conference. Competentum presented a variety of solutions and products including ShareKnowledge, Competentum Author, and content authoring services.
“Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference was a very successful event for Competentum. The general interest by both potential customers and partners was very encouraging, and of special note was the interest and attention shown to ShareKnowledge directly by Microsoft.” says Carl Done, Competentum’s Director of Business Development in North America.
“Winning the ISV Partner of the Year for Central and Eastern Europe award for the second year in a row gives Competentum a significant momentum boost in launching its expansion efforts into North America.”
“We heard from many potential customers and Microsoft solution sellers that ‘It’s great to see an Eastern European Company driven expand to the rest of the world by the quality and strength of its solution.”
